The Wuxi Taihu New City Science and Education Industrial Park (K-PARK) was established in April, 2006, approved by the Wuxi Municipal Party Committee and Wuxi Municipal Government. K-PARK is a hi-tech industrial incubator specializing in software and service outsourcing, television animation, micro-nano sensor, creative design, network economy, high-end R & D and educational training.

It gathered Jiangnan University, School of Software and Microelectronics in Wuxi, Peking University, Wuxi Institute of Technology, Jiangnan Institute of Computing Technology, China Ship Scientific 702 Research Center, and other colleges and institutes.
