Binhu district of Wuxi in Jiangsu province held an exchange meeting for cultural creative and design service enterprises at the district's Wuxi (National) Industrial Design Park on Nov 14.

Over 40 design companies from Shanghai, Wuxi and Suzhou attended the meeting. They also formed an innovative and creative industry association covering the fields of industrial design, film and television, automation, the Internet of Things, financing and manufacturing to promote design and technical innovation.

As a site to facilitate communication and cooperation between interested companies, the meeting discussed the problems of the design industry in the country and how to strengthen the confidence and ability of design personnel. The participants said they hoped to build a long-term cooperation model to make common progress in the field.

According to Ji Jing, vice-director of the design park, the park has integrated the resources of chambers, labor unions and service platforms, as well as contributed to cooperation between design companies and technical companies. It will also continue to attract high-level projects and design experts to lift the brand image of the park.
