Binhu district of Wuxi, Jiangsu province, hosted a photography exhibition themed "love of lavender" at the district's Taihu Cultural and Art Exchange Center on Nov 12. The exhibition showcased more than 80 photos of the beautiful lavender farm at the Xuelang Mountain Scenic Spot in the district and triggered a discussion on the combination of culture and tourism.

The activity received a total of about 3,000 photos from over 400 photographers within 40 days. The top prize winner, Hua Jingbo, said that in order to take a perfect picture, she visited the mountain many times, rain or shine.

According to an official from the district's bureau of commercial affairs, the lavender farm has attracted millions of visitors and brought considerable profit. Since it has become a trend to integrate culture with tourism, the government will introduce more high-quality tourism projects to the public.
